Based on customer feedback we observed a need for more information on the applicability of collagen assays for the determination of collagen content in various tissues. In our new application note we compare the QuickZyme total collagen assay, the QuickZyme soluble collagen assay and a standard HPLC assay for the determination of collagen in various mouse tissues. The application note gives approximate values and suggested dilution factors for a selection of frequently analyzed tissues. These data show which assay is best applicable, and can help our customers in designing their experiments.
